This site is full of time wasters. The trouble we had to try and get a single guy for sat nite. Let down by so many time wasters. This site needs to get rid of these people spoiling the site for genuine ones. I think fab should introduce a sign up fee to join. I'd happily pay providing they got rid of fakes and time wasters. |

It's not Thursday is it? 
If whatever you're doing isn't working for you, try changing the method. There would be timewasters whether there was a joining fee or not.
To me, a timewaster is someone you've made arrangements with and who doesn't turn up. People are perfectly entitled to change their mind at any point though. |

Single female here it's exactly the same for us very frustrating playing ping pong with messages then no meets profile states clearly what I'm looking for but gets ignored seem to spend more time messaging than actually meeting not sure there's a solution to it to be honest xxx |

I've never had a problem with time wasters. Maybe screen your choices better? Spend time getting to know them? Or go to a club? At least then if there is no one suitable to play with, you can still enjoy the facilities. |

We haven't met a time waster yet.nor do we ever plan to.
They are easy to spot and to avoid.just use some common sense.

But reading it again they said a feature where both of you select an option to show that a meet has been agreed and arranged then afterwards you can select an option to show that they turned up. That would be harder to abuse because only people you've actually agreed to meet would be able to say if you turned up or not. |

Fab does have a arranged a meet but didnt turn up box to tick on the report section. I wonder if fab takes that kind or reporting seriously though.
It's happened to me too. One guy even gave me his address, I drove all the way there, knocked on the door and a completely different guy opened the door! Despite the man I met on fab saying he lived alone. Why give the wrong address? Another guy arrange a coffee social in Costa, I travelled to him , he messaged to say he's 10 mins away, when I got there he wasn't even there! He didn't bother to turn up at all. Then had the nerve to ask for a "second meet". Lol no chance. I'm a genuine single woman, not ugly and I travelled you them. Why time waste? I didn't want to marry them lol  |

This ^^ In 4+ years on this and other sites, I've never wasted any time on a timewaster. Yes, I've spent time getting to know people, who subsequently turned out to be unsuitable, but I've never had a no-show for an arranged meet. This site has a function to report members who fail to turn up without warning.
OP if you want a pay-site, there are plenty to choose from. However, I don't think you'll find they are any better than this one. |

You have to just suck it up, I,m afraid. I,'ve had loads of men chat to me then "leg it down the road" when I say I will meet. For some it's all fantasy and dreams. A timewaster is somebody who arranges to meet then does not show. Even when they show up they are not obliged to have sex with anyone.
I have heard it said that some couples treat single men like walking dildos. Maybe the ones you chatted to didn't want to do what you had in mind. X |
