So I decided about half an hour ago that I want to go to the piccies tonight, I've pestered my friends and they're all either out of town or don't fancy the film. So I'm off anyway.
In a mad moment I thought I'd post a social meet (yup I'm buying my own ticket and popcorn) and see who bit...

I posted a social meet once and the only responses I received were abusive and derisory...it really put me off posting again

I'd happily meet someone just for the cinema , bowling , something to eat , walk the dog etc....I'd certainly not expect anything else . Always glad to make new friends. ...I'm on the wrong site aren't I ? Lol |

We've made posted a social meet before. It never really occurred to me. We have posted meets for sex...it's always men who respond and they hardly ever meet out profile preferences.
I think our most successful meet requests are when we are going to a club and ask to others who are going to say hi. |

I've just put one up too, it depends: I have a theory lots of men are married:attached or the single ones often have their children. So Saturday nights are harder to get meets. Daytimes in the week much easier. Which kind of tells you something. Call me a cynic. |

I'm going anyway and guys on here often whinge about how difficult it is to get a veri so I thought I'd see.
And yes, I've chatted with a lot of men who want to meet but try anything and everything to get me to meet in a hotel or in my house rather than in a public place. Which to me suggests they don't want to get caught by someone in particular |
