So nominate your favourite tubes of meat of questionable origins,

Or for you BBC lovers, blood puddings

I've got to say, Edwards of Conwy make a very fine pork sausage

My local butcher Edwards make uber delish sausages , though the ones in the supermarket are not as good as the ones in the shop. My mate works there and told me there is a difference in the quality and the shop ones are far more expensive but so worth it

Cumberland is a good place to start

Black pudding and white pudding are good accompaniments

The best pork sausage is, in my opinion, from The Black farmer,,, worth the extra pence!

As far as white and black puddings are concerned,, Clontakilty all the way while a close second is Mattesons1

I'm trying to get used to Heck sausages as I'm trying to lose weight and they are lower in fat. But I would sell a body part for a proper sausage sarnie right this minute

Absolutely no idea name wise but we tend to go for the farmers market type of sausages. Okay, they tend to cost a bit more but for quality they're the best we've found. Love farmers markest for breads, cheeses and meat...oh, and olives of course.

Is there such a thing as a bad sausage? Anything with over 85% meat content is good.

Whwn I go visit my dad in NE Scotland, I get the Lorne sausages, black and white puddings from the village butcher. I pay nothing for them as I plead poverty and dad pays

I love my dad

Rawlings butchers in abergavenny make a wide range of amazing sausages, well worth a trip! Closer to home Douglas Willis in Cwmbran make some very good ones...dearer than supermarket but well worth it!!
