I'm in a cluttering kind of mood, blame the rain!

Is it worth while using music magpie or other sites to get shot of dvds/cds

Or do I

A) car boot them

B) donate to charity ?

From what I remember , magpie don't give a huge amount for anything .

Car boots , you get some idiot refusing to pay 30p for a item and offers 10p( remember it's cost you £5 to go there anyway ) . I just give them to charity ........ It's not a lot , but it's my good bit done for the day .

Charity shops will be reluctant to take them, unfortunately thanks to the Internet, tangible objects like DVDs and CDs are in decline, I've got a massive library of DVD and we are talking high 100s, but won't be getting rid of them anytime soon, needless to say I've not bought a DVD for a couple of years now.

Charity shop,Her highness took all her old clothes out to sell in a car booty, raised a tenner all day(not saying her dress sense is bad mind) so at the end of the day she took them to a cancer charity shop....a few weeks later she had a letter from cancer research thanking her and saying they had raised 350 pounds from the sale of her duds which we thought was great , a few weeks later came another letter saying a further 200 had been raised,so for us a few quid in your own or whatever charity can make from things you have had your use out of...theres only one winner

It all depends on how many you have . If you have a lot then definitely car boot for 50p a time and then you can drop the ones left over at the charity shop.

I've used magpie to offload all dad's. Back in the day I used to sell at car boots. I think some charity shops would be grateful.

I go in a fair few charity shops looking for vinyl and see a lot of dvds and CDs.
