Throbbing hood 777 aka Frank

Thank you to those who've sent pm's xx I thought it would be easier to update you all at once.
My lovely man has been residing in hotel NHS since last Sunday after returning from Swingfields.
At first it was thought to be a severe case of tonsillitis (as I had it last week) but he could hardly breathe. He was then diagnosed with quinsy & glandular fever. He's been hooked up to drips & having IV steroids & antibiotics. Nothing is helping. They did more tests last night & on Monday he's having an op on his neck so they can do biopsies & more tests.
He's normally very fit & healthy but he can barely drink, can't eat or sleep & is basically miserable. He's nearly an hours drive away from me but I'm visiting as much as I can with 2 kids in tow!!!
Hopefully Mon/Tues we'll have more answers. Sadly I go away the following week & would like him home where his mum can look after him before I go!!

Get well soon fella...  .. if it's any consolation jg he's in the best place where the clever drs and nurses can look after him...
Visiting hospitals is tiring for all, patient and family and loved ones ..missing a visiting period isn't a bad thing, gives everyone a chance to catch a breath..

Saw him last night. He was looking better & trying to eat solids again. He now has a lovely 2-3in cut down left side of throat. He still has his sense f humour & is being as pervy as ever!!!
Should have results by Friday hopefully so they'll know what it is & how to treat I xxx |
