Anyone around Colchester that needs a little kick start to getting their first veri.... I (Mr) am in Colchester until 3pm.
Have offered this before, just a social to help others on their way on here. |

what do you mean? We had a whole host of threads running for coffee meet verifications. I met 6 guys and 1 woman and i know others did as well |

Mr Marmite is offering to give new people verifications. Some people are reluctant to meet people with no verifications. Web cam veris could be anyone.....face to face veris are much more reliable. |

Some people don't think the cam veri is very good, still doesn't show they are meeting people, they could just be keyboard warriors.
Most newbies are always asking to he verified, hence the offer of they are genuine.

Very true, I did this a few months ago, no one took me up on the offer though, strangely guys aren't so keen on a verification from a single guy, although I can't understand why! |

Can't understand why men would not want a natter over coffee, it'd not like we are going to shag in the toilets at McDonald's or anything! Haha
Still, if they don't want to meet someone of the same sex to help them on their way, then they shouldn't complain that they can't get meets due to not being verified.

Whilst, in a perfect world, helping newbies get that first little leg-up would be a good thing, we don't live in a perfect world!!!
Right now, there are press reporters prowling this site, making notes, gathering info, and looking for that "easy in".... and you are handing it to them on a plate ffs!
I'm sorry to say this, but right now you should be making it harder, not easier, for people to get that first veri, and it shouldn't be on cam, or for coffee... it should be at a club, where you saw them buried under a pile of other bodies, shagging, or being shagged.... and by others, not each other (in the case of couples)!!  |

Looks like someone got out of the bed on the wrong side this morning!
Swingfields fiasco was down to poor organisation, looking at the VA festival of fun and they never have issues like that.
It's all down to how well a public venue is situated, and in a farmers field where anyone can get in was nit exactly the right way to do it.
Anyway, this is not about other venues etc.... if anyone wants to meet for coffee that's all that's being offered.

Clearly pros and cons, but I think on the whole, great idea! You can always look at the persons profile to see what you think, and if you think they're a wrong un, don't veri!
Perhaps there should be a thread of people willing to veri in there areas, there's a nice indie coffee shop near me, be happy to oblige. Any gender |

They do so i understand the reasoning behind.
However I know how I meet & the effort that goes into it on both sides to make it a success so I wouldn't feel comfortable verifying just anyone on a speed veri session in Starbucks.
