Take my child home , make sure my child felt safe and wasn't injured.
Visit the 'person' to discuss their actions.
Obviously there are a gammut of facts that will affect post slap actions.
Are we friends ? How hard was the slap ? Were they only protecting their child? Could they have acted differently?
Essentially - regardless - I'd sue. As I am not permitted to punch their fucking lights out.
I would push to the ends of the earth to prove to my child that I will protect them and monitor my child to guage the long term harm.
The person should have held the cricket bat ..... not slapped the child. One had to take other things into account e.g mitigating circumstances etc .....
Maybe my kid is a bastard who has d one it before. Maybe im a negligent parent. Does my child have any conditions like ADHD .. Downs ?
How far was it impulse.... etc etc etc .
I still feel I want to kill them ... I'll mull it over a bit. x |

Hmmmmmmmm A slap from them ( given time and reaction limitations ) to my child is less harmful than a whack with a cricket bat to their child.
Their action could in fact have a positive effect on my child's behaviour in future.....
I still want to thump them hard right now ....... |
