My observation of the day is:
When you have a single profile, why do some folks feel the need to put photos on their profile of other people?
Is it the action shot thing? So people know you can suck a cock or lick a lady garden? Surely a profile is advertising the person whom it belongs to? Don't people want to see that person rather than randoms they've played with in the past?
Perhaps (read more than likely) it's just me but when I see a profile with graphic photos of people doing naughties with faces blurred and bad angles it just makes me want to laugh/cringe/shudder* and I don't really get what's appealing about it? I'm sure the fact that we're all on a swinging site, mostly for sex, it's a given that we're actually sexual people and really when you're advertising yourself as a single, is it necessary to provide proof that you can actually take part in sexual activity with visuals?
I understand that (total generalisation) men are more visual than women but when I see a profile of a single bloke with the cock making pokey (more often than not without a hat!) with a girlie, all the while the blurb says "safe sex... blah blah blah" there's not a chance in hell I'm going to engage in anything sexual with them. Yeah, yeah, that was my ex-girlfriend - really? So why the hell do you have a pic of your ex on a swinging site when you're trying to find new people to swing/have sex with?
I realise I'm incredibly picky... but it's a total turn off for me. Tasteful! I like tasteful!

We're of the same opinion. Our profile (when active) shows us as we want other people to see us, not us in action with other people as that is a private matter between us and the people we play with. |

I'm torn, as I believe people should have what they please on their own profiles, and who am I to criticise.
That said, personally, I find it off putting seeing multiple female faces chomping on some blokes knob on his profile, or his head burined between some woman's crutch. I totally agree... people can have whatever they like on their profile. It was merely an observation as the thread title states.  I'm curious why others think that having third parties on a profile would make them more/less appealing to others.
Sometimes it's cool to make conversation and get other people's views on things that I notice... tis what makes forums go round!

Im with sassy on this one, im also torn.
However two single guys on here that i regularly meet (who have 'action shots as both avatar and multiple pics) get an amazing amount of meets, so i guess it doesnt put all women/couples off??

I think that's a fair observation DirtyGirl, but it is surprising how many people ask for an action picture or a cock shot (at least as many as those asking for a face picture). This suggests that there are a lot of people out there that base some of their selection decisions on such pictures. |

I can totally get the perving over pics thing... it's not a surprise that others are of the view that action shots are great. I think (read know!) that I'm fairly odd in the visual things that get me off. I generally don't find looking at pics of people I don't know doing naughties does it for me. I guess it's a bit like porn... Im not keen on action shots particularly, they dont interest me. My eyes focus on the light shining on a blokes bald spot, or spots and redness from a too close shave etc. Thats not to say there arent any good ones out there, but Id be more interested in an arty type shot like everyone covered in gold body paint, than the pics Ive seen on people's living room floors.
