Sooooooo i swim quite a bit but fancy a bit of open water swimming as iv never been to an organized event,any info about sat morns nothwest people? Mucho grasias  |

I used to work on the Quays and it used to happen some weekdays too (we sat and watched on occasion when it was quiet!). Dunno if that's still the case though as in all fairness it was a lil while ago.....  |

Yes,have been for years.
I live close to the sea, usually start beginning of may through until October.
Although I have just had about 18months off swimming due to a shoulder injury.
Lakes are by far the coldest things to swim in. |

Well go for it but unless you are acclimatized to ow swimming sans wetsuit
Then it's going to feel very cold. |
