I'm finding it a wee bit tough on here just now and whilst I know it's only a sex site sometimes it's difficult to understand such nastiness.
In the past 24hrs I have received a stroppy message, an abusive message and someone suggesting I was racist, whilst calling me 'colourless'! All these resulted in me getting blocked and unable to respond.
My profile is tongue in cheek but also very clear about what I'm looking for so I'm unsure why guys contact me if for example they can't accommodate, are married or live in Timbuktu etc etc. If I'm not attracted to someone, why be mean to me when I say 'thanks but no thanks' There will be many many guys not attracted to me but that's life. If someone suggests they have a really important job so they are nervous about sending a face pic but they would like to see mine, is that reasonable? If I didn't want to meet you 1 or 2 years ago, why would I want to now?
I've been on and off fab for many years now and met some truly amazing guys, some of which are friends now but I am sadden by the lack of manners and respect people show towards others.
A few hours ahead of rant Thursday - sorry - but I felt the need as its not something I can discuss with the girlies at work is it?  |
