Anyone highlighted their own hair ?

If so how ? Foils ? How did you get them straight etc ....

I've done some colour blocks with foils before , but not highlights... Bit worried il end up with big blotches lol

Not to mention... Colour bleed!

It's not like a cut which can be rectified easily.

H/L are a totally different ball game. When it goes wrong [and it does] , to rectify that is horror story. For your hair and your purse.

Don't do it.

Oh my god. Don't do it! If it runs it will be so hard to fix!

I once had highlights and the bleach bled, it looked awful.

Can't you go to another hairdresser??
