Hey lovelies,
I hardly ever post here but I know that Mr does quite a bit..
Totally random topic I know, but has anyone had a laparoscopy for suspected endometriosis?
If so, how long did you take to heal?
and most importantly (only half joking!) when could you have sex again?
Kisses

Lisa has had endometriosis.,
she had hers removed via key hole,
Lisacamera through belly button)
they blow you up with gas then see what they find they then make small incissions so they can get to the endo to cut and burn it away. (i was in and out in same day)
very sore & badly bruised treat recovery similar to having a hysterectomy.
matt: Lisa was bruised all up her side for around 6/7 weeks and generally felt very uncomfortable.
although her endo had been removed she still had lady problems and pains in her side etc for a very long time afterwards
even though we have now had a little one (told it would be impossible) lisa still suffers with nerve pains and tummy probs month to month |

just to add lisa's endo was pretty bad, she was almost constantly on and having pains
her op was in 2013, she still hasnt fully recovered and is only more recently regaining her sex drive & confidence.
i feel for any women that has this there's no real way anyone who hasnt had it can understand the pain and suffering
before lisa got taken into hosp (found out she was pregnant) she was in tears as she thought it had came back and she was going to have to undergo more surgery. |
