He might be telling the truth, he probably handed over control of his financial affairs to his account.

But unfortunately for him ignorance is no defence in the eyes of the law in most places. Expensive lesson for him to have learnt

Yes, luckily for barca fans hell serve it under probation so it won't really affect him other than giving him a criminal record

I worked for the company that did the paperwork and every time they went to Spain to serve the papers he said he didn't understand english
