Dear Fabbers Friends and Forumites .

Today is a momentous occasion for us in Wales .

If you told me we would.be playing in the European Championship semi finals a few weeks ago I would have fainted lol, but its here.

I understand there are mixed feelings nationally about the match and supporting Wales and that's understandable. Its up to every individual who they support.

This is a happy Wales thread , if your not supporting us that's fine just pass this thread by.

So post your support for the Boys in red , the passion in their hearts , the team spirit , the memories of the nearly times and thoughts of Gary Speed.

Will be watching and cheering them on again, I always have done always will (except v England of course).

Bloody English press heaping expectation on them this morning though, hope the lads don't let it affect them and just go out and enjoy the game and try their best like they've been doing.

Whatever the result tonight they've done ALL of us proud in these isles, well done lads.

Having worked in Wales for about 5 years I do have a fondness for all things Welsh. Many ex colleagues are high as kites and well they should be!!

Dropped my daughter off to school this morning and all the kids have been allowed to wear their welsh tops, ok so some of them are in their welsh rugby jerseys as we're not used to owning wales football tops, but the support is still there!

Can I say here that there's been great levels of support from our English chums and it's appreciated.

I know we're a daft bunch, but it's just great to be experiencing this after 40 odd years watching major tournaments as outsiders.

You need to keep their midfield quiet, carrasco and the young guy on the left look very good players... Ronaldo will at some point stop misfiring..

I think Wales will struggle tonight, both Ramsey and Davies will be big misses bothhave had great tournaments .. the Wales team have had a fantastic tournament ..

I'll defy anyone not to have goose bumps on them when you hear that anthem resound around that stadium and the countryside around it this evening ....even if you're not supporting them..... its just magical. The same can be said for the Irish rugby theme too. When Wales and Ireland played I must admit to getting a bit emotional.

Put Ronaldo out by a shadow marker....he'll snap and dive all over the place but hopefully get yellow for it....and show him for what he really is...brilliant for a few seconds but sustainable. I think Portugal are relying too much on him rather than as a team.
