Weird because no woman ever married a man because he had money. Wonder why some men think that?

Definite puzzler that one.

(For the record I'm a tight-arsed Yorkshireman, you'll get bugger all out of me )

Titz Towers, North Notts

Not so much offended, more irritated. I'm not for sale.

It's like getting a message saying want to ride my gearstick off of some chap with the profile name, Ferrari_driver_69, whose entire profile is of pics of him leaning against a Ferrari. High naff and very one dimensional.

I don't like the implications.

It's akin to sex becoming a transaction in return for being "spoilt".

Otherwise known as prostitution.

Somewhere in North Norfolk

I get very few of those. Some even sound like they think they'd be doing me a favour by fucking me.

I guess I seem like a desperate, easy minger.

It's irritating when guys think they can 'buy' a meet with me, but unfortunately there are women (and couples) on here that expect this. I have absolutely no interest in going on a date with anyone, being taken out to dinner or spoilt with gifts...if I meet someone, it's because I want too!

I hate this too. I am financially independent and don't need other people to support my lifestyle. I agree with testarossa! It's horrible.

It's not just men making offers to spoil women.

I was approached by a lady that wanted me outfittted with a new set of clothes to only be worn with her. And getting offered money from another lady to "recompense" my time like it was gonna make me change my mind

glad it isnt just me.. with a partner or good friend.. small treats are nice.. but as a first message... it does annoy me a little.

The thing that annoys me most is when I say I'm not into something and then they offer to pay me to do it!

Lost count of the amount of men I've blocked for asking how much as their first message sadly I've got used to it

But then I've reported escorts profiles clearly asking for money and they are still up so I doubt it will stop

Central

If you've seen the sickening pricks who try this, you'll likely not be that surprised. Sex sites will draw people who think that they can get into your body at any price.

Ok... how about buying a gift as a way of saying thank you for something someone done?

Flowers, chocolates or even just a card.... just to show appreciation, and it doesn't even have to be sexual either.

if a meet brought me anything id feel pretty awkward.. if a friend got me something because id helped or just because thats fine

Ahhh sorry, should have said it was for a friend for just being helpful, also on special occasions... a birthday gift just to show you care etc.

Wouldn't buy anything for a random stranger though.

"I don't feel offended or get narked; I say a polite no thank you."

The offers were after saying no thank you!

Then the mardy messages started so it was the block button for them.
