Ok so as we all know the sun have delt yet another crap blow to the swinging world, we though may be able to help, now it's a long shot but if enough people complain it may be that the article online may get taken down or in the very least the faces pixelated, although I know the distribution of papers can't be stopped it may go a little way to help with some damage limitation, anyhow IPSO is who we need to complain too, the number is easily googled, it's a long shot but worth a try Mrs blue eyes

However by complaining you may push it more into the mainstream/social media realms which may cause more issues. Perhaps it is for those who are identifiable in the pictures to make complaints? They might be OK with it. Not everyone hides their lifestyle.

Can you link to the article in question for the benefit of those of us who don't normally read The Sun?

"Can you link to the article in question for the benefit of those of us who don't normally read The Sun?"

It can be found easily enough with Google.

The Sun swingfields will find it.

Lincoln

The Sun are a kabal of absolute grade A arseholes. Liverpool have the right idea. No copies of the Sun get sold there.

Ok so I have spoken to ipso, it can be be taken down under the clause 2 privacy act, but you have too submit a personal online complaints form on ipso's website, she also suggested everyone call the editor and tell them they are in the process of a ipso emergency complaint under the clause 2 privacy act, she said that maybe enough to get the online pics taken down or at least pixelated, I will post here when I have spoken to the editor all numbers are easily found when googled, hope this helps

Doesn't this constitute an invasion of privacy? The people in the pictures didn't ask to be and I'm sure didn't give permission for their image to be used. As this may lead to negative repercussions in their private lives surely there's some recourse

. I understand what your saying Evie but there is at least one of our forum members super upset today so even if we just help one member, well that can't be a bad thing, anyway I will call and I'm sure the people themselves will call if they wish and it's out there if anyone else wants to call, Mrs blue eyes

Yep....I found it quite easily. To be honest I do think the organisers have many questions to answer following this.

The article is as expected from the sun. The comments are equally predictable from the stereotypical sun reader.

I do get that something needs to be done but it needs to be thought through. What you have suggested seems a good idea. Keeping it through official channels and not making it a viral thing.

And of course, the 'moral guardian' Harradins at the 'Daily Mail' stick their oar in too...

. Oh yeah absolutely, I have only contacted officials and have given no details of anyone Including myself, and the only place I have or would ask for help is here, I am struggling with the sun at the moment though, but I don't give up that easily, especially as ipso suggested it themselves, Mrs blue eyes
