It's a digital card these days.You have to produce it when demanded by police or, more likely, DVSA and be able to provide up to 28 days worth of printed records.(You have to provide the printout paper yourself).DVSA guys carry a chip and pin machine with them so you can pay your fines there and then.
You can't get away with much these
days, quite rightly. |

I still have the old analogue tachograph on my coach, and also on my minibus too.
As for the OP question, NO i don't have to show to normal police, but I do have to show VOSA or a 'TRAFFIC COP'
Yes there is a difference, those that know about law will spot it straight away.
