Best place to look for mobile deals is on hot deals mate, I got a Samsung s7 edge on Vodafone for £32 a month unlimited text and calls and 3gb data. Had to put £100 down payment. But what a phone it is. |

I do agree with the above poster. BT have been offering good rates and a discount for their customers on top. Some of the virtual networks too.
I find it's better to get a good idea of an outline deal that's going and then put notice in to your own network, asking for a PAC number, quoting the deal you've found elsewhere. You'll probably have to speak to their retentions dept for them to match or beat it. If the first assistant doesn't, try with someone else there later. Your number transfer PAC has 30 days to be used, so plenty of time. That's if you'd be interested in staying with that company.
Obviously check coverage if you're thinking of switching networks.
If you don't need the latest shiny new phone, buying a cheaper phone outright, or continuing use of your current one, then getting a sim only rental contract is often much cheaper. You can get monthly or one year plan minimum term contracts, so you don't have to be locked in to them for years and years. I've done a months minimum term when I haven't seen a deal I'd like for a longer commitment - it just continues until you cancel.
A lot of the networks are doing good European roaming deals atm, with no charging if you roam - in advance of next summer's ending of EU roaming charges. Good if you'd like use whilst on holidays. Tesco network has this, I think, amongst others.
TopCashback and Quidco are two sites that pay you cash for shopping via their sites, including for mobile plans. Worth a look to see if they have some good cashback options for network deals that would fit you. They're just an intermediary, passing commission back to you. |

Check out moneysupermarket.com and the modiles sections.
They have some awesome cashback deals.
I'm currently paying £3.50 after cashback.
It's pretty simple to claim as well.
