My respect for him has gone down hill after seeing that. That's Shumi esque tactics. Dirty tactics to win at all costs. That's not sporting in my opinion. Glad Lewis won

Nico's audacity to suggest the final lap coming together was Lewis's fault was hilarious! Very Schuey-esque. He messed up, plain and simple. Hamilton gave Rosberg acres of room to make the corner. He couldn't have given him any more room short of driving off the track. Brake problem or not, Rosberg just wasn't interested in making the corner.

A thoroughly deserved win for Hamilton. Yet again he showed his true fighting spirit

Couldn't agree with you more. Nico should have just played the percentage game but trying to be clever may actually land him in hot water.

Currently under investigation and I don't think he has an excuse as to why he didn't attempt to make the corner. So not only is he under investigation for driving a dangerously damaged car but also for deliberately running another driver off road.

Be interesting to see if he gets excluded, penalised for the next race or merely repremanded?

Either way, to me it suggests that his move during qualifying in Monaco last year to bring out the yellow flags was deliberate

Had that incident happened earlier in the race it would have been a nailed on penalty. At least a drive through. Not sure what the officials will dish out though after the event.

Nico given a 10 second penalty and reprimand. 2 points on his license. It was deemed that he was driving a dangerous car and that he did not provide sufficient space for Lewis.

He keeps his 4th space though.

Results stand

If he keeps his finishing position then the 10sec penalty is of no use whatsoever.

Nico was lucky not to have been given a 5 place grid penalty given his previous indiscretions and the penalties meted out to others such as Maldonado, Grosjean in seasons gone by.. Lewis all the way .. Mrs Mo is an avid Lewis/F1 fan and literally wets herself at the sight of him lol..disappointed he wasn't at Goodwood last weekend so had to be content with Wherlein..still the did well in the end too..be interesting to see how well Nico is received next weekend

A pretty meaningless penalty then. I feel he got a bit lucky there. Though the reprimand may come back to bite him later in the year.

I think Hamilton is a bit of a dick.... But it was definitely Rosbergs fault.

I'm a big Mclaren fan so I was chuffed for Button.

West Yorkshire.

You only have to watch earlier in the race around lap 6 when Rosberg overtook another driver ( possibly the Hulk ) on the outside at the same bend and was given loads of room. Rosberg knew what he was doing trying it on with Hamilton and the weasel got his just deserts! Not that I like Hamilton either!

Lewis has often been critisized and unfairly imho at times for being too forcefull. The thing is, Lewis has a lot more finesse when it comes to squeezing and he sure knows how to overtake.

Britney Spears on the other hand tried to be clever and push Lewis wide but he got it hopelessly wrong and screwed himself up as a result. I can understand why he tried to do it but on this case, it backfired on him big time

This is spot on in my opinion also, have never been able to contain my dislike for Hamilton. He was wronged this weekend but got a result out of it. But i still don't like the guy, I think he is a complete tool!

I respect people's opinions for without them,, the World would be pretty boring if we all shared the same view.

I don't quite understand the hatred or dislike for Lewis though?

His private life and what he gets upto is his own business but when he's doing what he gets paid to do, there's nobody on the track in the last decade who has provided the excitement he has. Time and time again. The guy is bloody awesome, exciting to watch and super talented.

I think he's also pretty cool in front of the camera when he's talking about F1 too.

For those who don't like him, whatbis it that they don't like?

It's hard to explain tbh.

Along with Alonso I think he's the most talented of the current drivers but I always think that he's too arrogant to be likeable. Probably why he's so successful.

Plymouth and Newcastle (sometimes)

The only way Nico can beat Lewis is by cheating or when Lewis' car is wounded. Lewis is no more aggressive than anyone else on the grid and hopefully Silverstone will be another nail in Nicos coffin when Lewis takes the flag.

I wonder how Merc will deal with this...

After all this is not the first time Rosburg has deliberately driven into Hamilton in order to win.

I am surprised that the FIA were so lenient though.

I kind of agree with this although alonso has become a bit more likable as he has got older. I think part of it is the out side of f1 activities, compare him to a vettel or rosberg in this they keep a low profile. I can only compare it to David Beckham, and the way he was turned into a brand. I just don't like it, he is a driver, not a product. as a driver love him or hate him you have to give him respect that he is one of the best around, personally i don't think he is the best, that is either alonso or vettel
