Hello All,
Just wondering if anyone has suffered from hypertension headache before and if so what things can relieve it.
After a gym class yesterday I felt the beginning of a headache and by 8pm I was in a lot of pain with probably one of the worst headaches I've ever had. Food smells made me nauseous and I went to bed. It eased off overnight but I can still feel the remnants of it. Hoping it won't return as I'm out tonight.
Anyone else suffered or any tips / advice would be welcome. Thanks. |

Only thing that works for me is being in bed, in as dark a room as possible and then trying to get in a position that relieves the pressure. Maybe not the most comfortable position, but if it works then all is good. Hope it goes soon. Al X

What I think is that you would have exercised too much there! Or let your breathing become very fast I think. I have experienced it once when I went too overboard with my gym regime! Not telling to taking it lightly but maintain your heart rate and increase everything gradually. I am no doctor but that is my opinion haha |

Hi , I suffer with migraine a lot and I find that sipping a warm cup of tea then lying in a darkened room with slices of cold cucumber on the eyes very effective x |
