ok after reading another thread it got me thinking. At some stage some of us are going to have a problem with some aspects of the scene, and post in the forum for advice, as here is the only place some can get advice about things that happen while swinging, its not as if some can go to there friends and family. Maybe we should have a room dedicated just for problems, where well meaning constuctive advice can be given.

And before anyone says anything i am NOT having a dig at anyone, or being sarcastic.

hope this makes sense

I totally agree with the OP i was thinking just this after reading a thread someone put. At the end of the day who do you discuss your swinging problems with when the problem is with your other half. I cant imagine my family or vanilla friends being able to talk to me or understand. I am in a fortunate position that I have a wonderful g/f who I am able to tell everything to.

The whole reason for the thread the other day from a woman was that she had discussed the problem with her other half, and yet still needed to sort it out with advice from others.

Excellant idea...there are years of valuable swinging experience that forum posters can share with others...like a problem page I guess..

I think sometimes people need a new forum entitled....'Swinging Support and Advice, but only if you agree completely with my original post'

....and i think that is the problem... unless you go "there there there" and agree profusly some people that umbridge to what is posted..

people shouldn't get shot down for telling it like it is... i suppose its the way that information is delivered is the contenious topic....

I believe people should respond with their honest views and not sugar coat it, but thats very different to nasty bitchy mocking retorts with the rolling eyes smiley attached. Definitely how the information is delivered is key to a good discussion.

You can give constructive criticism without getting personal or nasty, but at the same time you expect the receiver to adher to the same rules of accepted criticism without getting personal etc etc.

That often isn't the case and people get drawn into silly arguments.

Some seem to take things a little too seriously. It's the internet, not face to face combat in a locked room.

If you get pissed off, log off, have an icecream, a beer or run around the block a few times and come back refreshed.

You really don't have to engage in the argument.
