Hi everybody! We're heading to the Lake District and Durham from Sunday 3/7 to Wednesday 6/7, do you have any suggestions for places where to sleep or to visit? We wouldn't mind some naughty avventure

How far up do you want to go? As it's a short trip perhaps stick to the South Lakes then do that scary but beautiful drive across to Durham?

Ulverston has a carnival tomorrow.

It's just a little journey, we won't go go much north. The carnival seems a nice idea, is it good?

I haven't been to the carnival for a few years but Ulverston always has something on. If there isn't anything on you still have the Laurel and Hardy museum, Gillams for afternoon tea and the chocolate shop.

I was there last weekend walking and dragon boat paddling on Windermere. Lovely, beautiful, calming.
