aw. it always makes me laugh on forums when one person makes a topic, then someone else innocently makes one, then loads pop up for fun.
although one site i used to used banned people from doing that coz it was considered LQ. |

But then one says something considered to be inappropriate and the fun is taken away for 24 hours , then 48 ....
So the fluffy love ins are the way forward if you want to stay active .
Now and then a thread pops up and you think ' wow , it's about time someone said something interesting ' and the thread gets hijacked , and the original subject matter is forgotten .

Probably the best time was when show us your face first came about, think it got to something like part 20+

it's an online forum some times it will be relaxed and other times it will be heated...
it just seems that for some reason there are a fair few individuals who get angry or kick up an argument over anything depending on the subject or launch attacks at one another some times over nothing...
Things I hate the most is the constant use off the term "white knight" or just the usual petty arguments which surface up now and then..
overall the forum for fab is just....well the forum I suppose some days you like it and others you down right hate it and some off the people in it. |

People used to put quizes up and do alsorts then people would argue over the most stupid things. I remember when we started the forum oscars they where brilliant noone would read more into it than abit of fun i know whoever did this years bloody chaos broke out. So people dont do stuff.
If you organized a social you said date and time a d that was enough.
Someone to always argue with everything.
But its still fun else i wouldnt be here. But to many take themselces and the forums to seriously.
Some nights its brilliant when the banter starts and some nights noone can be bothered. Even i have my moments of being funny whats a nimby though |

I think the forums are the same as they have always been. I havn't noticed any change apart from politics took over for a while.
There are people here that are interesting and thoughtful and there are people here who like to belittle and argue. Same as in everyday life. |

Most of the time the forums are fine. There are some real characters on here and I like the laddish banter between some of the men, it's funny to see
Some threads get heated, but with so many people on a site it's inevitable that some are going to say something that cheeses you off or catches you on a bad day.
I enjoy it, on the whole, but then I'm fairly new so don't know what it was like previously. |
