"Im tempted to go full sleeve on my arm... what dya thinks people
Bit warm in June, save it for winter would be my advice.
Could always roll them up though. "
Yes practical at the moment too 'cos it keeps getting chilly |

If you are wearing a tie I would suggest a full sleeve.
If you wear a tie with a half sleeve you run the risk of looking like a coach driver.
And remember in the city you have to have a black shoe , brown shoes are only acceptable on dress down days.
(Although I'm not really in favour of such events) |

True but better with button cuffs rather than elastic. Rolling up and down elastic will just stretch and flap around your wrist. Like a loose fanny that's just been heavily fisted. |

Your choice fella. Remember the permanence of it though - it might be a trendy fashion statement now and the 'in thing' like beards and man-buns, but think it through properly and whether you want it / will be happy with it for the rest of your life (you can shave a beard off easily when the fad has passed)
Good luck with whatever you decide! |

I like the look of full sleeves but to me that amount of work and pain should have a meaning or personal story to it not just random images picked from a tattooists wall, but that's just my opinion

Took me four years to finish my sleeve
Debating to go for a second sleeve or start on a full body piece in buena vista tattoo club style. |

Just as a matter of interest and I'm not picking fault with what you have said, honest
But I see so many people say that
Why should a tattoo have meaning or personal story? whats wrong with just having a tattoo simply because you like the design? |

I remember it was the rebellious few that refused to conform to societies norms that were the ones with tattoos. Now I feel like the rebel but not having any |

Just for me if it's a really big piece that is going to take a lot of money, time and pain to achieve it should be something that means something to you, that when you are sat in your nursing home it can remind you of something important. Designs and fashions can change, something that provokes a feeling or memory will always be precious to you x |

"If you need to ask advice on the Internet you probably shouldn't get it done.
Already have 3 so one more wont hurt....surely "
Ok fair point. But the other three, did you get those for your self or because a bunch of women in a forum said they liked tattooed guys?
