Easter just around the corner!

Stupid question I know, but does anyone have one? I've just bought one and all I want to do is scan and copy something at the mo,but the paper keeps jamming. I haven't used it yet so there's nothing in there. Any ideas before I lose my patience?

Try YouTube. Type in the model number. The chances are someone will have reviewed it. You may get your answer there.

HTH

I've already tried that I couldn't find anything regarding the paper. I'm clearly being really daft,I have no patience whatsoever. I just don't know why it's not going through properly

Is the paper set properly into the paper guides?

Have you removed all the tape and packaging correctly? They tape up most of the moving parts, you may need to open it and check again for coloured tape

Take it back and get a replacement. There could be a problem with the machine, a part broken inside, who knows? Now is the only time you'll be able to replace it, but don't forget to get the ink cartridges replaced too.

Shouldn't do as long as it's not really thick paper.

The printer should have some built in diagnostic utility, have a look in the manual, should be a case of pressing a couple of buttons and let it do its thing

Type the make and model in Google and it will guide you to the page for this particular model. You can find a complete set of online manuals there and a support assistant app. Hope this helps xx

What was causing the problem then? It wasn't that paper which is white on both sides, I don't suppose?

Beyond the shadows.

See often at work when people phone up saying this has happened to them, after just buying a printer. It's because they haven't taken off all the tape or packaging on the inside of the printer that stops things moving about during transit.

Paper jam or ink cartridges needed reinstalling?
