Does anyone use an Instant Messenger for the iPhone? and if so which one? Is it any good and is it cross platform?

Depends what service you use really.

Windows Messenger is OK

I use Palringo as it can do AIM, Windows, Yahoo etc.

i use windows messenger and IM+ both are good....
