so is this wonderful language to be banned after brexit as an official language within the European Union??

yeh well as a welshman i am over the moon --and they can take their distorted american version of that language with them -- with all their materialistic values.

well they wont need english if there are no english politicians! and why waste money translating a language that nobody wants to use there? -- in their parliament etc that is?

Language is a very contentious subject as I've already found out on here!.

It doesn't really bother me what they do in the EU parliament but you'll find nearly all the EU members speak English as a common language between them....I mean it's the most commonly spoke language in the world, so it's really just an obvious thing to do

There's hundreds of dead languages, welsh alone has two or three dead versions, language moves on all the time, English itself is an amalgamation of several other languages.... Shit like this happens all the time
