Because we have an over inflated sense that we are way better than we actually are.

Also the players will know exactly what awaits them in the media aftermath.

Fabville

Because the rugby and cricket players earn less. They work for what they get.

Football players earn obscene amounts of money, so they have no incentive.

On the world stage we never deliver. We can't keep harping on about 1966. That's half a century, doesn't bode well does it. They never play together enough. The Premier league has so many foreign players that it's not representative of the standard of our own home grown players. We think it is , but it really isn't. We need to go back to the drawing board and be hungry for the win.

Last night Iceland played with more heart that's partly why they won.

We should switch our national game to beach volleyball. Then at least we will have something nice to look at as they lose.

Let us face it. England is crap at football. We should expect to lose to a country with 0.5% of our population then we can be grateful it was only 2:1.

Is easier to assume they'll lose or let you down. So don't worry about it. Although how they can justify a ticket price for the continued failure I don't understand. And they're kit should be at primark prices

If Germany or Italy win this competition what would their incentive have been ?

Their players earn as much , if not more, than the England team.
