Farrage he can bullshit his way through anything!
That said given the restriction of movement it has to be an English man........it would be great if they appointed someone from the EU!
The irony! |

I will do it for free and any money saved can go towards improving the shit facilities our kids have to endure, and to supporting the education of more coaches. Between them the FA and Premierleague are killing the game. I want to tell Scudamore that the game is not a "product", it isn't a "brand" and if they keep ignoring the damage they are doing to the national game they are going to kill the goose that keeps laying the golden eggs. Sorry for the rant but just so angry and what a shambles tonight was. Roy looked like a man who had no idea what to do from the moment we went behind and that lack of leadership filtered through the players who were abject. Well done Iceland and can we have your manager? |

"ooops meant Pellegrini "
Was gonna say Pell myself, average to slightly above average cv, no ego (unlike Pards), available, generally well received by the public and media, safe pair of hands, no skeletons (unlike allerdyce) |

"Alan Shearer or Gareth Southgate that is just plain wrong"
Why? Shearer would love the job, he reminds me of Sir Davos and frankly you can't really get any worse than this tournament.
The team lacks GOALS. Who knows more about goals than Alan Shearer |

Shearer took Newcastle down then quit, Chris Houghton picked up the pieces then won promotion...and was sacked |

He had 8 games in charge!!! What miracle do you want when the team is already flirting with relegation after 30 games! |

"Can't we have Jose, I have a little thing for him....
Should have been Jose, he's got nothing left to prove at club level and should have gone looking for a new challenge. "
Nothing to prove!! He managed the team who made, what is statistically, the worse title defence ever! |

Could have tried to take them back up, but chose the pundit cash instead, which is where he'll see out his days |

Okay, so maybe he needs to prove he can last 3 seasons at a club without pissing off everybody there. |

"Joachim Low? or is that going too far?
Another immigrant, coming over here, teaching us how to play football...
"
When was the last time we won anything. Plus We've just been knocked out by a part time football team |

Forgive me, I thought the intended humour in my post was obvious
Low has been around the national team forever, given real power in shaping football in Germany, something he'd never be allowed to do in England. I don't believe any new manager can change too much while a player like Danny Rose is anywhere near a squad... |

Ayr SW Scotland |
All the above says it all - there's no one really. Bo one that might make it work or take the job anyway.
Let's face it, if Sam Allardyce is the answer it must have been a fucking stupid question. |

And a much cheaper one as well, I bet they all of the players wages don't add up to one of ours |

Definitely NOT Pellegrini
And I'm saying this as a Citizen
He showed the same mistakes as Woy Woy, inflexible approach to the game, unable to change tactics where needed, and a misguided loyalty to players on the pitch (Bony and DeMichellis as an example). When teams learnt to sit deep against us you saw exactly the same problems as England faced in this tournament |

England's poor performance is simply down to England supporters ensuring that the players are paid too much.
The players have nothing to fight for, no raw fight in them as they no regardless of what happens there is cash in the bank
The are overpaid and over rated and that is down to the supporter's at club level. |

Hoddle. Tactically cute. Gets his teams organised. Adapts systems to players and opponents.Did well until he got chucked for being a bit weird last time and unfairly dismissed.
Plus he's done it as a player and would have everyone's respect. |

Are you suggesting the Ramsay Bolton approach to management where you'd starve players for 7 days before a match to make them ravenous? |

"Well that was the worst England performance I can remember Hodgson will pay the price so who next?"
guess the English supporters will have to dig deep, they are the ones paying the ££££££ |

With a cracking view |
There was no fight, spirit, pride, motivation or team ...
Watched the first 5 minutes thinking they'd got the idea of what to do ...
Then Iceland played to their strengths ...
Lee Dixon and Ian Wright were brilliant to watch at half-time and at the end of the game ...
But Roy resigning isn't the complete answer ... when will the players stand up and be counted ???
A half-hearted hand in the air by Joe Hart is not enough ...
Being a Scotland supporter for many years, including all those tournaments we qualified for and England didn't, I have a pragmatic approach to the team ... if they win great ... if they lose, I know they will have played with sprit and pride in their shirt ...
Would you have the English players in the trenches with you ??? !!!
Or the Welsh and Irish ??? !!!
I know who I'd choose ...
As for a new manager ... Jurgen Klinsmann ???????
And before anyone says it ... I know we didn't qualify !!!!
But the World cup qualifying should be fun !!! |
