Your face needs to fit to get by these days?
It's a fairly vague question but what are your views? For example... a few times recently my ideas have been overlooked only to be treated with awe and congratulations when a much better looking friend of mine suggested them, she's obviously not to blame here.. she was part of our little social experiment.
The only thing that sets us apart is aesthetics... we are both fairly successful in our own fields... both reasonably sharp etc.. it just got me thinking  |

It's a bit demoralising. But I think I'd rather be me and lonely and not have lots of people like me simply because of how I look. Stings a bit though  |

That is the way it is unfortunately!
The older I get the more invisible I feel!
Young and gorgeous beats old and fat every time!
Regardless of how much nonsense they speak!
