"and ppl wonder why the forum is accused of being cliquey
Do they? "
Well yes people do, because they start various threads up about it. Ive always hated cryptic threads and always will do, but thats just me, cant please all of the people all of the time, tis life. |

Iconic, at the time this thread was started (on the back of another being pulled, whereby the OP of first thread was taking the mickey out of herself), there was nothing cliquey or cryptic about it.
In fact the person in question was on this thread a few times also having a laugh, but their posts were also pulled, thereby I do understand your feeling that it may be a barbed thread, but can assure you it was all lighthearted fun and no animals or forunites were hurt or injured in the process. |

I went to bed as soon as the C reared its head.
Last night was the latest I have been in the forums for ages and reaffirms to me that forums and a wee bit too much booze is never a great mix for SOME.

I wasnt stating that I thought it was cliquey, I was responding to anothers posters comments that this type of thread is possibly what gives rise to the clique phenomena.
I didnt read many threads last night so I didnt know it was carrying on from something else, and I didnt realise that some comments had been pulled from this thread either, so yeah I agree with Polo that you probably had to be there at the time

Ah well Im glad I wasnt then, I do like a good debate, even a heated one, I dont like unnecessary unpleasantness though.
I dont really start that many threads and they are not always that interesting, but I try and keep to the formula of writing a thread which could be understood and responded to by a person logging onto the forums for the first time. If someone cant get involved in something because they dont understand, then it is delibately excluding them, and none of us own these forums, they are for everyone. |

I am glad I missed it after reading the other thread....
I know it's not nice to suggest that a person has "issues".... but....
sometime i wonder is the person is actual someone else in a different guise....
