Ah bless ya, it's not the best, I won't lie but the benefits far outweigh any pain, you won't know yourself, it will most definately be worth it, when are you going for one? Good luck, Mrs blue eyes |

Had a couple in my finger joints and along the compartments behind my shins. Not gonna lie they feel a bit weird not excruciating but not nice.
Take someone with you who can distract you and prepare to squeeze the life out of them.
You do however get used to them and the relief afterwards is worth it. |

My ex used to have steroid injection in his ankle, he probably still does
He'd go every 6 months, when it was wearing off he's be in so much pain, he used to go upstairs backwards on his bum because he simply couldn't put all his weight on his left foot to go up, he would have only been in his 30s then, after the injection he was like a different person, could walk unaided, would go to the gym etc till it started wearing off again
He said is was uncomfortable but worth it, I think after the first one you'll be looking forwards to the next |

Ah diamond, it's going to make such a difference to you, you will be so pleased and you really will not care about the pain, the first one will be good but having a second and third will be fantastic, take some strong painkillers about 20 mins before, if you are able too, and then keep up the painkillers for about 24 hrs after as you do get like a burning pain afterwards but then come Wednesday you will feel lots better, just think about something rude, I'm sure you can manage that good luck, let us know how it went Mrs blue eyes |

I get it in my right shoulder. It eases the pain for a few weeks but then wears off. Personally I'm not sure the pain of it is worth it and should let them open my shoulder up and repair the nerve and tendon damage |

Glad to hear you have had it and all okay, which part of the body did you receive the injection;
Be aware you should not get this more than 3 times and be aware of the long term complications these can cause |
