Went to a farmers market today and spent far too much on cheese. This wasn't our intention but got a little carried away sampling the impressive French stuff, charmed by the French seller and going oooh and arhhh most of the time... out came the cash...very nice but...

Yeah when I first started on the slippery slope of car audio, bought a decent subwoofer cheap for £30.

Went to an audio shop looking for an amp and a enclosure for it.

I came out £1500 lighter and a full system

Taken things up a few notches now....the new door speaker set up I've got isn't far from £1500 (don't tell Mrsdpt)

It's alright though....I can stop anytime, I can take it or leave it.

Not necessarily spending too much, but more than anticipated Went to buy a cheapy mini/midi type system, with small speakers to fit on the mantelpiece etc. You know the sort of thing, downsizing.

Listened to a few, and came away with a new separates system, big speakers, speaker stands, cabinet ..... car full of stuff. However, best system I've ever had & will last

Yeah did that in Foot locker this afternoon. Ordered some Nike Air Pegasus and walked out with some Nike Air Max Tavas and some New balance because I liked the colour. I can't help myself

Yes....those olive and picked garlic stalls are the worst for it!! I have no concept of weights and measures so telling me how much it is per 100g is useless until I realise it works out to a tenner a box!!
