I've only had chance to watch one episode so far - the one with Matt LeBlanc doing that ride around London.
I was expecting a car-crash (excuse the pun) given all the feedback but actually I thought it was ok - I was pleasantly surprised!
I guess the haters were always going to hate |

Not for me; I've tried each week to watch an episode in full but have only ever managed 10 minutes at best - Chris Evans isn't for (well not on the telle anyway) and the other presenters feel very wooden |

LeBlanc is much better than I anticipated.
Evans is far worse (and my expectations were not high to start with). It doesn't seem to be making any progress as yet.....doubt it will with the ginger one taking the lead. |

Given that whenever I see Chris Evans on TV I have to fight the urge to throw something at the screen, I thought I would brave it and give new TG a go..... If anything Evans has got more irritating and childish with age. God was I bored, lost interest after 15 minutes but saw it through to the end...time I will never get back |

i think the reviews and the short films they do aren't that bad.... and i like some of the new people, matt le blanc and the black guy and sabine.. even eddie jordan has made me laugh...
the weak link is chris evans and all the studio based stuff the interview and the mini rallycross stuff is awful.... |

I think its okay, I was getting bored of the old one anyway, I just wish they showed more reasonably priced cars and saved the supercars as well as the challenges to one episode a month |

Over the rainbow, under the bridge |
The early Top Gears of the Clarkson era were absolutely crap.
It was only after some time they found a formula that worked with the three personalities.
I think the new show simply needs time for them to get the right balance. |

It's not bad, better than I thought it would be. I think Le Blanc is an engaging and humorous host and Sabine has had a few moments. But I feel that the whole thing lacks an edge and feels too safe and restrained. It misses the feeling the old one had, that at any point in time someone was going to do or say Something That would spark a minor international diplomatic incident |

It's getting better with every episode. Its a real car show instead of been a general entertainment show, as a petrol head I think that's great.
Think most who don't like it are been a bit childish tbh and just stomping their feet because it's not those 3. I guess most people forget how wooden top gear was when Clarkson, Hammond and May first got together. It did not develop in to what it was until a couple of years in.
Most people don't even realise James May wasn't in it till the 2nd series! |

Tbh I had given up on the old Top Gear as I had tired of Clarkson and Co.
I find the new one pretty good, yes CHris Evans did begin by being too excitable but has calmed down. Matt Le Blanc I really thought would be terrible, but he has impressed me. The reviews are good and done mostly by proper petrol heads. |
