I am envisaging the Queen sitting in front of the telly with Philip, both with a big gin and laughing away. She has her country back! As far as I am concerned we should sack all the political class idiots and let her run it! Judging from how she exists on the Civil List, she would at least balance the books! Perhaps some of the savings once we actually leave could be spent on buying her a new yacht? Rule Britannia! |

If Scotland is daft enough to opt out and become independent then give that independence up to become part of the EU then it deserves everything it gets...forced to join the Euro and drowned in red tape. I won't be bothering to throw them a life raft when they wish to come back! |

I'm neither a strong leave or remain supporter as I'm an immigrant but if I'm to be honest with you. Scotland leaving UK would cost England a lot of money and possibly trouble, because of the nuclear deterrent. |

"She might have her country back, but it wont be GB for much longer when Scotland and ireland is voting out to be in the eu."
They would be blocked from joining by Spain. If Scotland joined the EU, the Spanish would be forced to have a referendum over Catalonia, which they don't want... |

Re-locating Trident would be a nuisance, and not without some cost, but it wouldn't be a disaster and there are plenty of candidate locations that would welcome the additional jobs it would bring to the region (which would be Scotland's loss).
It would make more sense strategically to have it within our national borders.

Relocation of the trident would cost billions of pounds, in addition to that England and Wales haven't got deep enough shores. That's why it is situated in Scotland. So not only is it a money issue but also a technical one. As far as I'm aware Scottish people don't want the trident on their territories so I don't see how that could have been their loss.
In fact a lot of English people don't want it either, because it costs a lot of money to upkeep. |

During the referendum, a lot of people down south were told it was an anti english thing.
That was bollocks.
Purely an anti westminster thing.
Westminster considers manchester 'the north' so what chance does leeds and newcastle have, let alone scotland. (I'd be happy to annex the north of england if they wanted to come along.)
Regards the eu. I'm happy to use any excuse to get away from westminster, and nothing to stop us leaving later if it suits.

Now the vote is over and the lies are being freely admitted -
£350m for nhs, nah, thst is a misprint.
Able to controlbour borders, nah that is the first thing the eu pushes on in trade negotiations (as per norway that they kept quoting for trade agreements)
Privitising the nhs, farage already let that out the bag.
Maybe now people down south will start to see through the lies and broken promises |

Re: nuclear deterent -
We can't use it, so it isn't a deterent.
If we use it, we've already lost.
Scotland wanted to use the obscene ammount of money earmarked for trident, to shore up out completely depleted conventional weapons.
Navy based as helensborough, so still same ammount of jobs.
We would also be able to respond to threats without having to ask france for a loan of a plane.
We would also be able to afford planes for our aircraft carrier as well.
Nuclear weapons are (i know this sounds obscene) a luxuary item. The Uk aren't even able to pay the interest on their credit cards at the moment, but want to run out and buy the latest 4k telly etc. |

"Scotland can't leave the UK. Who else we going to use as cannon fodder if there's another war?
Tool
Yeah, that made me laugh as well."
We like the Welsh so we can hardly put them forward |
