Perhaps some may not have noticed but there is now a facility for blocking all groups on fab. Check this out.

I just block mm couples... and no it doesn't show up on profiles...
like the idea and it is a step in the right direction.. I can see it is going to cause issues.... I think it should be shown on the actual profiles.. or are single men the only ones worthy of this... |

not for me, but i was just looking at parity rather than being singled out...
I think that some groups of people are going to be in for a rude shock..... watch the complaints fly!!!

Has admin reset all the filters whilst creating the new ones?
The reason I ask is because anyone in these new categories you block now that you have declined in the past will all still get past your filters, which makes these pretty much useless except for new members who join.
If this were the case it would be nice to have an option to reset these yourself.

I think if is like the single guy block... the "account details" (where you put in what you are looking for) and the message filters are not connected....
so if at the beginning you say you are after "Women, Couples (mf)".. and then you put on the message filter on "Couples (mf)" for example....
that couple will think you are looking for.. but will encounter the block without even knowing, and thing "aaaargh!!!"
so just as single men find the .... looking for "men" followed by "not looking for single guys" frustrating... I think people will find this even more so... because people won't know!!! |
