Had my first - massive - sciatica attack in B&Q. They had to put me on a trolley and wheel me out flat on my back! Took me 25 minutes to get up the stairs at home, weeping in agony. Another week in bed unable to get downstairs again. Hope this isn't as bad..

Same here, but i need to get enough heat into it to be able to move first!
I have some 600mg Ibuprofen tabs i take for my elbows but i can only take 1800mg/3 tabs a day so i'm waiting for when i can take the next one! Time for another hot waterbottle though.

Don't wait you can take paracetemol in the interim at 8 500mg a day every four hours or paracetemol and codeine - secret of pain control is mixing and matching compatible drugs.
Speak to your surgery and the nurse will draw up a pain killing plan using a variety of drugs. Good luck and I hope it gets better soon xxx |
