Unless the party ask him to stay and then he'll graciously accept the will of the people....

Slither, slither, slither...

Stupid prick.

He gambled with the country to try and force UKIP voters back into the Tory vote.

Yes its what the Brexiters wanted. The markets will be fucked for a long time. This is akin to the Titanic tragedy with Boris and Nigel at the front of the ship singing near far................

I just feel that sometimes it's better the devil you know. My view isn't everyone's but he was voted in on the General Election by a majority which is different to this vote.

He descended into petty mudslinging - as the defeated its difficult to return from that.

I don't mind the result all that much, I didn't choose it but I can't defend the EU anymore. It's every bit as corrupt and inefficient as the leave campaign said, I hoped we could reform it but that was probably optimistic.

What I resent are the reasons for and the timing of the referendum.

As in this was about the EU. And who is going to become the next PM - and we won't be choosing him/her the Tory party will?

Thank you for the clarification.

Yup, 150 000 to choose the new pm.

So, how easy is it to join the conservatives and how do you get voting status...

There will be a new leader...then a general election that unless Corbyn stands down before ... will be a whitewash for the conservatives who will increase thier majority.

It's party politics... win win for the party.

True, it's hard to see how Tories do badly out of this -

UKIP has now served it's purpose and will cease to function since it can no longer blame everything on the EU, so that's 3m Tory voters back

Tories take credit for giving people the vote when Labour didn't

Corbyn disgraced himself in the campaign even more than he normally does

Boris just won an unlikely victory and his stock has never been higher

It means that those who advocated BREXIT had know idea as to the [economic] consequences. Moodys have put the UK on a negative watch so the cost of money has gone up overnight. For what? So the likes of Boris and his like can wrap himself in the flag...........fuckwits!

I wasn't arguing either, I simply wanted a clearer view of what you were saying.

I know which way I voted but it took me an awfully long time to make up my mind as I could see both sides for different reasons. I would never mock or make light of how anyone else voted. But the politicians have behaved like squabbling children prepared to use whatever springs into their minds to sway us so I have little or no respect for any of them right now.

As a result I'll happily mock the lot of them. Dave is clutching his tattered dignity around him and trying to sound statesmanlike, a true statesman would have maintained his dignity through the debate and it wouldn't be tattered.

Watching the coverage this morning the only one who hasn't whinged or backtracked is Corbyn. He has signalled the end of his reign by not taking a strong stance but he is facing the result with clarity. This time next year I predict we will have very different leadership all round.

Just please God not Boris!

Never make the mistake that Boris is stupid. He's highly intelligent with incredibly keen political acumen. He made a boob with the mudslinging during the brexit campaign but he won't do that again.

I thoroughly dislike the man but I won't underestimate him or consider him a nutter, buffoon or clown.
