It didnt suprise me as they voted for david twice. Watch the country turn on itself and the pound will be weaker. There will be unrest for decades to come.

yep, except I know a lot of my "friends" have been grossly insulting to me, my political opinion and our cultural roots this morning and that makes me very sad.

In your bed

Well it's likely we have just said goodbye to GB.

England and Wales going it alone.

Long-term could be fine.

Short-term petrol prices will go up. Who knows about the rest.

The only question is which is going first - Cameron or Scotland?

what good would it do Scotland to leave the UK? As part of the UK they've just voted to leave the EU. And if they got independance the EU wouldn't let them in anyway

Cameron...he'll announce this morning. ..vote of no confidence by the people will push him.

We are a great nation and I don't think we will suffer, this country is stronger than we may all think. The pound was going to drop regardless of the vote, and yes we lose the eu trade union but not the ability to trade we still have resources they need. In or out we would still have a lot of changes to deal with

It's their leaders that voted to leave initially and now their leaders voted to stay...they're not listening to their people as usual. Their oil is no where near as plentiful as their leaders were saying...they will watch how the UK bounces back and watch other EU countries leave in next couple of years and Scotland will want to stay with the rest of the UK. .....

He's a fucking idiot. The only reason he called the referendum was to try and kill UKIP and get back 3m Tory voters. He gambled with our country and lost.

He deserves to be kicked out right now.

I was initially a leaver with the considered opinions of intelligent civil servants and politician, then Bumbling Boris and Fearful Farage made it about Them and Us. Which leaves a bad taste in the mouth, a campaign led by increasing far right beliefs is never easy to listen to. I want my children to live in a country of tolerance and liberalism. But this morning that doesn't feel the case. It is what it is. But I cant see how things will ever be the same again in this country.

At least no more Eurovision Song Contest

My parents were lied to...they were told that it was purely for trading purposes and then it became a monster.

A lot of scaremongers in here presuming we did it just out of patriotism we which is utter bollocks. These people might like their European trips and worry about a little extra paperwork when travelling...but you HONESTLY ask yourself how many times you've heard the line "it's not 'great' britain' anymore...

Well now there's a chance to make it great...it will be hard...there will be lots of ups and downs. But we are still suffering from a double dip recession that saw a lot if my friends suffer

So it's time to stop panicking...slagging leavers off...trying to predict the future and time to crack on and make the most if this chance.

And if you are really missing Europe and feel Britain is doomed...remember...your passport will still take you their I'll help you book a flight.))

Thats wrong. Over 90% of the Scottish population voted to stay in the EU. Scotland recognises the importance of being part of a larger body

The EU recognises that.

Well over 80% of Britains GDP actually comes from Scotland, without it, we have next to nothing to trade with.

And now we have no bargaining power, the only way we could now trade with USA is via its TTIP, that is a horror story in itself, it will set us back by decades.

We've been effectively in opposition for decades.

Constantly trying to stop Europe from shafting us.

Our politicians are waking up to the shock that they'll have to actually work now. Take charge of this country instead of letting Europe make our biggest decisions.
