It's the government who will make the final decision and debated in Parliament. The referendum only tells the government what we think. Some of the London boroughs are coming in really close. They're remain but only at 51%. You are quite right but it would be political suicide to go against the will of the public If it is out then because it's not legally binding I reckon you'll see one or more referendums until 'they' get the result they want. Just as they have in the past here in Ireland. After all what's democracy got to do with government" I don't believe that will happen.

"Out is Halfway to the finish line..... Shit.... are we really going to come out of Europe? I think it's going to be so close that the negotiations between the two camps on this will take some time. Can't see what they could neg out. its been to bitter and I don't think the public would stand for it When you have such a close vote, almost 50/50 it will throw up questions for Parliament. This isn't a what do u think vote. Its a what will we do vote. It still has to be debated and put to the vote in parliament. That will mean some negotiations. The negotiations will come after with the EU That too. Farage has already said that if it's close and remain wins then the matter is not closed. The remain camp will have some similar feelings. This will be the debate for the next six months. On the current numbers we're talking about half a million votes from an electorate of 46m holding the majority. It's very slim. Bristol goes in.. another student town" "You'll never win anything with kids" Alan Hanson..... Devon

"Farage and his people appear to be banging their heads against the ceiling. He's giving his victory speech already. "the war goes on"...Nige seems to think he (and only he) has been given a mandate by half the population " Jean Claude Juncker said if you vote out that is it you won't get another chance. David Cameron made fun of Boris for suggesting another vote. Cameron will look like a fool if he gives another referendum. Alan Johnson said a few hours ago "a win is a win". That suggests no 2nd referendum and the result will stand.
