It's safe to say England are fucked in the Euros.
Having failed to top the group, the most likely scenario is that they face France in the quarter finals. If by some fluke we could beat them, it's then on to Italy or Germany. Ironically the final would be the easiest game if we could beat them.
What a difference a goal would gave made... |

I'm of the opinion if you play semi wank early on its not a good sign ya gonna play better if you progress..England never look like winners just dreaming of the beach as usual.
Enjoyed too last night though stuffing the spaghettios lol |

To win any tournament you have to be prepared to play, and beat the top teams. Can't hope to win by someone else knocking them out.
We're capable of beating any of them, and have done. Every game is winnable |

We played and failed to beat the worst team!!
Frankly Wales have more chance of reaching the final than England |

We can beat Iceland and I think we can beat France. Certainly capable of it and on our day both games are winnable.
If we do then it's likely to be a Germany or Spain (possibly Italy) semi final and then we would need to turn up and be at our best - in a one off game anything can happen..
Personally I think we'll beat Iceland but lose to France. But the semi finals are definitely possible if we play to our potential |

To be fair we have struggled so far because the teams we have played have parked the bus, Iceland will be similar but we should have enough to beat them. After that we should get more scoring opportunities because the teams we play will actually try and win the game leaving spaces at the back for us to exploit...hopefully |

"We played and failed to beat the worst team!!"
That doesn't matter one bit, it's over. Besides that could have been 6-1...but it's a tournament, we got through, next game is the important one. All focus needs to be on that. |

Well I'm not really buying it but I'd hire you as a motivational speaker anyway |

Have we lost a game yet, no..
yes we could have played better but so could have Portugal and they are through..
Iceland are no mugs and in some ways would have preferred to be playing Portugal..
its a knock out now and teams can't sit back and hope they don't let one in, all will have to go for it so that will suit the way we are playing at the moment..
some good games in this next round, glad all the home nation team's are through and the ROI.. |

"Have we lost a game yet, no.."
Yes!
A draw is as bad as a defeat. This is the whole problem with the England team. Let's sit back, take a draw, lose on penalties and then we've done our job. |

No its not lol
null points for a win, 1 for a draw..
agree they do that infuriating thing of sitting back when they score and they looked out of ideas at times against Slovakia but when any team at this level has a defence so organised not many teams can break them down..
Portugal do not sit back they just attack and they found that out too..
i don't think any team will play like Slovakia did in this next round..
not even Slovakia themselves..
have faith.. |

England to lose to France in the quarters, Roy to leave with his head held at the usual height, FA reward him with a new contract purely because Greg Dyke doesn't think Pards dancing is smooth enough, Croatia win and Slaven bitch fucks Ian Wright live on ITV, the BBC mob go even more all matey and make a joke about Rio slicing a shot during the golf afternoon they didn't invite Danny Murphy too |

But whats the excuse against Russia then?
Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice...
I think some Iran / North Korean style discipline would whip these boys into shape... |

Think England has played fine so far, the young lions have played three teams that have defended for huge parts of the games and I think we've still had plenty of shots, looking forward to playing a team that will try attacking us.. feeling positive, come on England. |

I maybe pessimistic but I see England going out to Iceland. We just do not have a plan in the final third and chopping and changing the team from game to game doesn't help this. Can see a late free kick from Gylfi Sigurdsson going in and Roy to be fired and hopefully not replaced with G Nev. |

OK it wasn't a late goal but I pretty much nailed it |

Not me I was being positive as according to some on here if we are negative and don't think positive we will cause the end of the world..
Or summat
We were pants but strangely enough I was not surprised and am quite indifferent to be honest..
Good luck Wales |

Only a tenner at 8/1 so £90 back so wasn't too bad. I had Italy earlier in the day too wish I did a double! |

That's not bad. Surprised it was only 8/1 though for the "biggest shock since 1950" |
