Gggrrrrr kids are off school today for voting. I arranged to hve today off plus a funeral in afternoon. Friend asked yday what I was at. Mentioned the funeral at 3pm so she dumped her daughter on me so she cld go shopping with her mum. Ffs I must hve mug written across my head!!! |

Flipping hotel didn't tell me when I checked in that I'd be next to workmen with a generator, pneumatic drill and cherry picker that beeps whenever it's raised and who start at 8 and don't finish till 6  |

someone has sent my parents a letter telling them I'm on fab ,my old profile name ,new one and who I was on here with as acouple .also how many men ive met .
said I'm disgusting and don't want people like me around and deserve a vist from police ,as have a young neice .I shouldn't be around people or children ,
they didn't give their name .

I was all set up for an Uber Rant today (no, not one in a taxi, just a REALLY big one) because I had been summoned to Group Head Office - never a pleasing experience. As it turned out, they ratified my plans and proposals, gave me a biscuit and generally said "Well Heels, turns out you're pretty damned good at what you do". Mild retrospective rant, in that they did not cause me to be ranty enough to take advantage of the scrummy cakes from the wee delicatessen next to reception. |

I think I'm now too tired to rant but...
The car was being mot'd and serviced today (fortunately went without a hitch!)
Oh yes, the rant. I got to the station in plenty of time this morning. First train cancelled. Next 2 full. About 50 minutes later finally manage to get on one but standing room only. This evening the service was even worse owing to the fault at Surbiton. Eventually got home by taking a magical mystery tour on trains that were running.
I know it's minor compared to what some are having to cope with as a result of the storms. I hope they've had a rant if they've had time. |
