This option on here to see if messages are read, is it more trouble than its worth?
I constantly see women putting on their status about getting horrible abusive messages off men who have been ignored , (grow up lads)..
Do u think it's because they can see they hv Been dissed Ie message deleted.
Could never be nasty to a woman me, their right to choose |

Yeah I tend to think it's a bad idea.
At the very least it should be controllable, perhaps with settings for either no read receipt at all, full read receipts, or perhaps (as I'd find helpful) only unread and deleted.
Personally I prefer people to delete the message if they aren't going to reply. Means we can just delete it at our end, remove from the hotlist and disregard as a potential. Far more efficient |
