Okay, I'll start, how come I weigh myself, go and take a shit and piss, clean my teeth and then re-weigh myself. Now logic dictates that the second reading should be 1st reading minus feces, urine and plaque (okay not expecting much on the plaque front but every little helps).
How come IT'S EXACTLY THE SAME? |

"On the other hand, I've weighed myself after showering....and weighed less.
Now that's scary.
I shower regularly. Honest.
Ha ha, what colour was the water going down the drain?"
No comment. :P
(I'm doing my best to turn people off in order to get fewer messages in my inbox. Do you think I'll succeed with this one?) |

Don't forget to fully empty your lungs before weighing. Also, worrying about anything, including how much you weigh is going to be a heavy thought. Think of happy times to lighten your spirits and weigh less. Every little helps!

" What a lovely thought, my worries are weighing me down, but one worry is I'm 17.5 stone, okay I'm 6'2" but still classified as "fat fucker". |

You need regular weights to get a truer perspective and to prevent tiny incremental changes creating a cumulative total that you're perhaps not so happy with.
I've no idea what happened with the op but I'm sure some controlled experimenets could help to reproduce it and see if it's an issue with the scales or there's some mysterious phenomena at large - such as breathing in air that's humid (bathrooms often are, if bathing/showering) and the moisture is super saturating body cells, increasing bodily weight. Not to mention whether hair is dry or wet. |

The amount of hair left on my head makes the last statement null and void, unless we count those springing from my ears and nose (am I making myself nice and attractive here?) |
