I love this on YouTube. A carriage full of pissed up Ireland fans singing lullabies to a French baby... If only all football fans could be so kind!

"That's lovely...see not all fans are hooligans"
Not hooligans are fans either... I reckon a lot of thugs go just for a fight!
Good on the Irish lads though! |

We arrived in lille from Bordeaux on Sunday and I can't get over how friendly and warm the locals are. People stopping in traffic to take photos of us in our stupid T shirts or like last night ato the street party girl asking if we were Irish and just kissing us. I've never seen anything like it in all my time going to away games. Moments I'll never forget, the shopping trolly. The tunnel we turned into a nightclub. The local police in bits laughing at us.
The few locals we spoke to last night said after having their streets destroyed by other countries supporters last week they were looking forward to us arriving.
That said we spent a lot if time with a group of English and Welsh guys and the banter has been brilliant. Couldn't fault any I have met. Tis a shame a few knob drag down an entire countries name.
But...all the smiles and chants aside, we came here to win a match not a best fan award COYBIG |
