Serious answer... it depends on the body part and how big the tattoo. If they go over and over the same spot that hurts. It's worth it though. |

I'm thinking of starting off small with just a small one top of my arm and then perhaps go from there.
I wonder if you can have a general anaesthetic |

No u cant have an anaesthetic general or otherwise but I think some tattooists use a numbing cream but seriously hurts less then you think and is like being scratched by a cat |

can have numbing cream and take a couple of paracetamol beforehand they say - i find its the outline that hurts like a burning scratch but the shading is fine - its quite a nice pain |

I've recently had a day session, I sat from 10ish till 4.30ish, it's really not that bad honestly, the only thing I find is that it can be addictive, once you have had one, you always want more, good luck with it if you do go ahead Mrs blue eyes |

Its definitely a cross between a burning sensation and being scratched by a cat. But its strangely enjoyable, unless your having a tat on your flank or any part of the body where bone is near the surface. Hurts like a bitch...but well worth it. Cant wait to have yet another one.  |
