I have a friend whose hubby boutght her a car, his reasoning they would get a decent sized family car for them both and the kids...
She wanted a small car... Thinks this one is too big!
She has proceeded to have at least 8 accidents within a year!
Point is, I think her negative thinking has contributed to her constant accidents... |

It does happen, but I don't dread it, I like relating in reality so would rather know. Once it happened the other way round - I had dinner with someone I didn't fancy and half way through, out of the blue, wham!!   |

It can be a slight worry, but if you have had a brilliant time chatting and getting to k ow some.one its always an advantage .
I do get butterflies that I wont live up to expectations, I think we all do  |

I met my late partner on orange chat and yes we where both worried that it wouldnt be the same face to face tho he was orginally visiting me for a week but ended up not going back home |

Absoloutly there's always a bit of a worry that things are flat when you meet in person and as some have said before I personally worry that I don't live up to thier expectations too... lol |

Most of my meets have gone splendidly
There was one exception though, with someone I had chatted to for months before.
He came to stay with me for 4 nights. It was awful. Zero attraction (both ways), little in common both in and out of the bedroom.
We basically got pissed for 2 days to tolerate each other and on the third he met someone and went back to theirs not to be seen again until he needed to collect his belongings.
All I could think was 'thank fuck for that'

I personally think that it is very difficult to 'meet' and maintain a dialogue online with someone who is effectively a total stranger to start with, so by the time it comes to meeting up with them you should know pretty much if you are going to get on or not...

Happens all the time.. The amount of phone sex and Skype sex I have before meeting someone , that by the time we meet.. We don't need a social.... That's why Skype and FaceTime are better than these coffee socials... It saves time.
The people that refused to do a little 2 minute webcam (chat not always sex before a meet) , have usually turned up looking nothing like their pics in my experience. |
