I have been watching rally before the moto gp... watched enough reruns to last me a lifetime..
No beer though, Master has the beer for his match.. :D
Recording Touring cars to watch later too..
how stupid though is it that Eurosport isnt showing the gp live.. I have to switch to BBC... and I prefer the commentary on Eurosport.

I think stoner will win.. but dont rule out dani.. However as a life long rossi supporter I am interested to see how he goes ....
I dont care who wins as long as its not Lorenzo.. :D
I dont care how sore my throat is.. if he falls off I will shout Oh yes.. mean I know but well.. lol
Stoner is good at quailfying and at this track... but I think little Dani may do good too.. and fast laps dont mean a thing if you cant deal with an actual race.. which stoner has proved he struggles with time and time again..
We shall see though..
For me a top ten finish will be good for Rossi today considering everything..

It was such a upheaval for all.. but well.. with the new 1000cc bikes coming out next year everyone knows rossi is more valuble than just a guy that rides the bikes..
Just look at the magic he did with the Yamaha...
Will take a little while for everyone to adjust as Rossi brought so many of his own people.

Crutchlow did really well.. although my Tonsilitus took a turn for the worse after.. lol
I watched them all... and yes.. It will take a few races.. but Rossi wasnt just employed for being the riding god he is.. but because he is so good at taking a bike and making it suit all riders.. look at how good the yamaha is ... but that hondas new clutch is really good... think the other bikes best play catch up..

Yeah the Hondas are the bikes to beat so far, the quick change clutch works but is nothing new, I used to ride MX and only ever used the clutch to start and when the Race was over, it was amazing how much you pulled on someone that used the clutch!!! Very handy for getting the 'holeshot' into the first corner |

No its not new but its been a while since anything like it has been used in moto gp as they banned double clutchs....
It just saves so much time on accelleration.. and also.. lets face it stoner and pedrossa are lightweights lol..make them all have to weigh the same lol

Very handy for getting the 'holeshot' into the first corner" why have i appeared several times ? The hondas dont clutchless change, the higher gear is preselected as first used in the vfr 1200. Boxin downs not a problem as most ( including rossi ) use the clutch to drag into corners as slipper clutches are for nancey gays that are scared to back it in. Hope to do a track day this summer. Maybe croft. |

Gearboxes are your friend when going down the box.. but the way the honda changes up the gears now you could hear how seamless it was...
Delightful to hear...
(yes I know how to ride a bike)

Yes, I have to agree - that noise was pure poetry - a mechanical symphony - one of the best bikes that i've had was a ducati monster - loved working down the gearbox, roll on the next races! Z |

As motogp fan, it was a good race and Lorenzo was 'rider of the race' as Honda is the fastest bike out there and to keep three factory Honda's behind him is pretty impressive, he ride the wheels off his Yamaha. The boy is the real deal.
But have a feeling Casey Stoner will win the title this year.
Rossi just fade away this year and will keep hearing about his bad shoulder every race, getting boring with it. |

Oh those of little faith... I have been a rossi supporter since he started in gp in the 125s... I dont jump ship because he has a bad season.. and the shoulder if you actually read the official reports is very bad..
This time next year.. people will I am sure be fearing the relationship... and the M1 is only as it is because of Rossi and his crews genius.. people forget its about more than riding a bike..
I dont care who wins this year as long as the title is taken... Lonrenzo is about the most hated champion ever... I would like to see stoner win it actually.. we can have him as a token Sorta brit too then..
But I will be at silverstone( crap place to have moto GP) with my number 46 flag.. and will support him till he no longer races..( which I would imagine would be when he is physically unable to)
Of course he could always move to WRC, he is rather good in rally too... or always the f1 option.
I thought 7th was great for the injuries and bikes limitations.

i'm not that botherd who wins races or championships, as long as theres a race to see, some magic, a bit of argy bargy. Vale is the main supplier of that entertainment. And having met just about every top rider, i can say, there wont be another one. Enjoy him while he's here, weather you ride kwaks, yams or dukes. |

Hated Champion? pmsl, only by Rossi fanboys and fangirls.
Wondered what happens when Rossi retired from Motogp, will Rossi's fans carry on watching motogp?
There is life after Rossi, life move on.
Haters should read Lorenzo's autobiography, he is a genuine nice guy, not want you see on the telly. |

I will find someone else worthy.. but I have yet to find anyone I really watch BSB for.. Steve Hislop went years ago.... I kinda follow little stuart Easton though...
Although did follow local boy for a bit... but now in WSB.
And Lorenzo is hated by many of the other riders.. and by time rossi retires, funding for GP will most likely have ceased.. look at the grid now..
what they should do is make moto2 and motogp one thing..and hold two races like they do..
Winning a championship once, a few people can do.. winning like Rossi does.. well they are a legend.
I am proud to say that I will support Rossi till he no longer races.. and then I think he will manage a team.. but if not.. I will find a Brit to follow...
I know loads that suddenly decided to follow Lorenzo because he won.. fair weather fans they are to me..
I am looking forward to Rossi being fit and wiping the floor with a few people.. been to long since he was fit.

I have some riders I like and some I dislike but anyone who gets on a bike that does over 200mph and will hit sixty in less than 2 seconds and then rides how they do gets my respect |

@Katie
You love Rossi but hate Lorenzo for beating your beloved hero, I can understand that.
I only wish Lorenzo came to Motogp at the same time as Rossi and both in peak at the same time racing each other, that would have be awesome to watch and Rossi wouldnt win as much world championships and wins as he have now.
Rossi is very good playing mind games on rivals in the past, he destroy Max Biaggi, Sete Gibernau and various riders but it's Jorge Lorenzo he fail to break, Jorge came to Yamaha and Rossi saw him as a threat and want to have the wall between them in the pits, following year he put a ban sharing the data infomations and gave Yamaha an ultimate it's either him or Lorenzo or he will leave, all backfired at Rossi, Lorenzo got stronger and faster each year.
And also, if Rossi build the M1 to a winning bike, then Lorenzo must be pretty good to beat on Rossi's bike then?
Well last year, Rossi cracked under pressure by pushing too hard on cold tyres trying to beat Lorenzo's time at Mugello and Rossi was beaten by Jorge the previous two races at Jerez and LeMans.
I am not a fan of Rossi since I follow him from 125cc in '97 onwards but I will say he is the greatest rider in history to date and Lorenzo is just starting and he is good to watch, he gave us same exciting races since he came to Motogp like last year Japanese and the brilliant Jerez victory, the last race last year was good to watch too.
I have to admit Rossi should have perform better than 7th last Sunday as I believe if Stoner was riding the Ducati, he would be higher than 7th, Stoner won 3 races out the last 6 races of 2010, he nearly won the last race of 2010 so the Ducati was a pretty fast bike when he left the team.
Rossi made a mistake rushing back to racing after breaking his leg at Mugello, he should have took the year off and have the operation both on leg and shoulder and recover he would be fresh and fit for racing this year, but he chose to return early but keep hearing his poor shoulder is pretty boring and tiring, not good.
Anyway, let enjoy this year Motogp. |

Forgot to mention this, only thing I wish Lorenzo is to stop the after race celebrations, it's so corny and should leave that to Rossi as it's his thing to clown around.
I thought this is the best one of Rossi's celebrations at the '09 Misano GP wearing the donkey ears on the podium, very funny, see the link below:
