"Sorry, but tomorrow, June 21st is the summer Solstace (in the northern hemisphere)"
It's actually at 22.34 GMT tonight ... It's a leap year this year which has thrown a few people a day out.
The Druids are out from tonight through until tomorrow morning at Stonehenge, so the traditional 'sunrise' is tomorrow, but today (20th June) had the longest elapsed time between sunrise and sunset |

Thank you for the clarification.
If it's not as wet and dark as this morning's 'sunrise' I'll go and join the locals at the beach.
It's the inauspicious moon tonight. |

Always thought we should calibrate the shortest day, like most Scandinavians, because that meant the days were going to get longer. We always seem to get things arse-about-face in this country! |

It is my birthday so I will be celebrating by eating cake and hopefully opening presents.
I used to love staying up all night to watch the sunrise. Had many a lovely birthday morning that way. Sadly I cant have a big bonfire where I live or that would be on the cards for tonight. |
