Prepare yourself...
I've spent the weekend decluttering my flat and whilst looking for something else, I found a half penny in an old vintage handbag.
I'm ridiculously pleased with my find. It's dated 1971 and there was a 7p stamp beside it.
What's the best thing you've found? |

A £20 note in a side zip of an old handbag. Obviously stashed it there for taxi fare or something on a night out and then forgot about it. Came in handy |

My ex wife lost her wedding and engagement rings on a beach in Spain after taking them off to put sun cream on, she only realised back at the hotel. I went back the next morning and found them both using just my hands to seive the sand, she was thrilled to bits |

After putting my mum in a home I had to clear the flat and found a newspaper in a picture frame dated 1867.
Not sure what it's worth or where to take it. |

Many years ago I found a metal disk with 1207 and words granting it the status as an official town from King John stamped on it,
I don't think its very old but I kept it anyway |

"The cards I had been sent when I got married. There were some from people who have passed away. "
Mine are all in a box in the loft for the kids when they are older. Lots of people have passed away since then so although no longer married the cards are precious.
I've kept all cards from when the kids were born too with their hospital name tags, teeth etc... They'll probably think I'm nuts but I don't care - I know I'm far too sentimental |
